The external coating of 20,000 six inch pipe joints that were delivered from Tenaris Argentina, required jet-wash cleaning prior to loading out from the Larnaca yard. This activity was carried out to remove the micron level, loose polypropylene external coating particles, prior to loading out onto PSV’s to ensure safe handling of the pipe when it is onboard the pipe laying vessel(s).
The pipe bundling activity involved the bundling and strapping of 7 (seven) 6” diameter API 5L for use as fibre optic cable (FOC) conduits to be installed inside the 32” CWC pipes for connection between the Production Platform and the onshore facilities.
Design, fabrication, installation and FAT’s of 56 pad eyes for lifting purposes on each corner of 14 subsea crossover structures. Engineering Group produced WPS, PQR(s), Original lab test w. macro photo with hardness intentions visible, NDE reports & Base material certifications, Consumable Certifications (filler metal and gases) & Weld matrix and maps .
Design fabrication and assembly of various FOC conduit and beach crossing spool pieces and swivel flange spools for installation in the field. The scope of work included the design, fabrication and welding of the spools, blasting and painting, NDT inspections, packaging and forwarding to the field.
